Christmas Eve we headed to the Parry Farm to celebrate Christmas. Caden has gotten pretty good at convincing Grandma and Grandpa that we need to open presents on Christmas Eve--which actually works out pretty good--the kids can enjoy their new toys and goodies and we have a little more time on Christmas morning to relax or do chores before church.
Here is the present fun at the farm--above--Brynn in all her glory with her new Hawaii t-shirt!
Layne got a new toy--yes, it is a gun--enough said :)
A fun little purse to put some goodies in!
A very cool remote control car that lights up and the wheels turn any which way--Brynn got one too, but hers is red.
A pretty new outfit from Aunt Kristi and Uncle Caleb!
And finally--the one present that both kids have been asking for--a Princess umbrella and a CARS umbrella--big thank you Aunt Kristi and Uncle Caleb!
Time to spoil Grandma on the farm--in honor of Christmas and her retirement all of us kids went in together and bought Grandma a Ipad--she had tears of excitement and did not let us down with her great reaction! Uncle David also made it back to KS from LA--woo-hoo!
Let the Ipad fun begin--enjoy Grandma!
Kristi and Caleb had a relative that did decals--so Layne designed this decal for Grandpa's semi's and Kristi and Caleb got the decal printed and we put a big smile on Grandpa's face--I think David is in charge of getting them on the semi's!
Your turn Kristi and Caleb!
I got pretty spoiled--as usually--by Terri and Craig also--Terri let me pick this year if I wanted diamond earrings or a Keurig with all the fixings--it was a very tough decision because I had been wanting a Keurig for yummy hot chocolate and chia tea, but diamond earrings are hard to turn down--so the Keurig is staying at the farm for all of us to enjoy and I will enjoy my new sparkles!
After all the present fun, we took great naps and then headed to the beautiful Christmas Eve church service!
