Branson, MO Part 2

Sunday, July 4th, we headed to Silver Dollar City. It took us a bit to figure out our plan of attack, but after a train ride and a cool dog show, we ate lunch and hit the rides. There is a wonderful kid area where Layne and Caden rode on several rides and there was an area for smaller kids so Brynn and I went on a frog ride. They had a great water area with cannons and a boat ride that you could shoot cannons as well--Caden loved that area--we had fun riding the boat and shooting Daddy and Grandpa--but we got plenty wet as well. The big kids then went on two roller coaster rides and we ended the day with a fun mine roller coaster--Fire in the Hole. It was a great day--we started at 9:30 and left the park at 5:30--ate a yummy dinner at Cracker Barrel, and headed back to the condo to put the kids to bed and enjoy the pool, hot tub, and fireworks! So besides our 3 year old being a 3 year old at times and both kids getting up around 6:30, it was a wonderful family vacation!

Our family--just getting started at Silver Dollar City!

And this is our after picture--not too bad after fun in the park all day!

Uncle Brad and Brynn--checking out the train.

Grandma and Caden--waiting for the train ride.

The Stunt Dog show we went to--it was very good!

At the show--waiting for it to start.

Eating lunch.

Happy 4th of July Daddy and Brynn!

Caden and Daddy going on his first roller coaster--back car!

Brynn waving at Uncle Brad and Aunt Lindsey--the frog ride was a little more bumpy and fast than mommy thought it was going to be--Brynn did fine, but one ride for her was enough!

Caden and Daddy on the fast pirate ships--Caden had lots of smiles on this ride!
We took Caden on the big inner-tube ride down a river--that did not go over so well--he cried--a little too scary for him--so we went back to the water guns--maybe next time!

Caden and Daddy packing up the air mattress on Monday to go home!

One last family picture outside our condo--we all agreed we could have stayed one more day--it was a great place to go that was not too far from home and very family friendly!
