Branson, MO; Part 1

July 4th Weekend, we took a family vacation with my family to Branson, MO! We left Friday--stopped outside of Topeka for a picnic lunch, picked up Brad and Lindsey in KC, and continued on to Branson. Lindsey's mom had reserved a condo for us and it was wonderful--very roomy and had everything we needed! That night, we ate at a BBQ Buffet, settled into our vacation home, and relaxed after traveling all day!

Our picnic lunch--it was windy, so Caden helped Grandma hold down the tablecloth by sitting on it!

Brynn and Daddy--taking a walking/stretching break.

Our Vacation Condo--it was just perfect--with pool, hot tub, and playground.

Caden playing an arcade game on Saturday morning--and yes, that is a pink headband in his hair--he found it and insisted on wearing it, but we managed to get it away from him when we left the condo--(sigh)

Saturday morning--Grandpa, Layne, and Caden went putt-putt golfing and to a
fish hatchery while the rest of us shopped at the outlet malls--it made all of us happy to be going different directions!

It was a pirate themed golf coarse--Caden loved it!

Golfing inside the cave.

Riding go-carts with Daddy.

The fish hatchery and dam.

Getting food to fed the fish.

Looking at all the fish.

Feeding the fish.

Brynn with the shopping gang--the double stroller worked wonderful for all of our
packages.

That night, we cooked--Brad grilled chicken and we had fajitas.

While waiting for supper-Aunt Lindsey and her mom took the kids to the playground.
Brad and Lindsey got some good bonding time with the kiddos--Hooray!

Brynn is climbing everything these days...

The feast is ready to eat--Lindsey's parents also came to Branson and stayed in the condo beside ours--it was great to see them again and enjoy a fun evening of food and laughter.

Mommy, Caden, and Grandpa went back to play putt-putt one more time after supper--Mommy had missed the first experience and Caden had such a great time, that we decided to play one more round of golf before calling it a night!
