Sunday--Easter morning, we were up early and the kids discovered the Easter Bunny had been here. They had fun looking at their new toys, books, and video--Caden ran all the way back to our bedroom twice to show us first his new movie and then his new book! We then headed to Ellsworth to attend church with mom and dad, Brad and Lindsey. We were very excited Brad and Lindsey made it back for Easter--it was short but sweet! After church, I got a few cute pictures of the kiddos in their Easter outfits (with the help of Grandpa and daddy) and then it was off to the family farm for some yummy food and fun. My mom's extended family gets together every Easter, so it is fun to catch up with everyone and enjoy the beautiful weather!
Brynn very excited about her new book from the Easter Bunny!
And of course--the new shovel has to be taste tested!
Caden got a new letters video and a book with poems about Trucks--that has been the book to read at bedtime every night since (sigh) :)
Our two cuties--with some nice smiles and at least looking at the camera--Caden is almost 3 and Brynn is 11 months.
My cousin Mary made fun Easter baskets for Caden and Brynn and the eggs had prizes in them--Angee is helping Caden find his prize--what a great idea!
Caden getting his truck and backhoe ready to work.
2 of my cousins discovered a baby owl hiding in one of the buildings.
Football time--and what amazing weather--What great blessings God gives us!
Here is our group picture for 2010--some cousins could not make it this year and were dearly missed, but we enjoyed the food and fellowship. We all left a little early this year, so Easter egg dying and our egg breaking contest did not take place, but we had a wonderful time and we will put the egg fun on hold til next year!
