Easter Saturday--with the Parry Fam!

Layne's Grandma Dorothy in Morganville always hosts the Morganville town Easter Egg Hunt at her house--she has the largest lawn in town! So Saturday morning we woke up early and headed to Clay Center to get some yummy doughnuts at the Tasty Pastry and then we headed to the Parry Farm to unload our stuff. Caden arrived just in time to help Grandpa and Aunt Kristi go check on some baby calves and then we all headed to Grandma's for the Easter Egg Hunt. Aunt Kristi helped Brynn and Grandpa helped Caden and both kids ended up very happy! Cousins Conner and Greyson were also there to hunt eggs as well as a lot of the Parry Aunt, Uncles, and Cousins. It was windy, but the sun was out and it was great to see friends and family!

Daddy and Brynn, Grandpa and Caden getting ready to go hunting!
And yes, the kids had fussy baskets this year--Caden saw this truck basket at Hobby Lobby and loved it--so what was a mom to do but buy it and the cute bug one for Brynn!

Conner and Canaan, Kristi and Brynn at the starting line!

And they are off--get the egg Brynn--not the basket--silly girl!

And she found it!

Two eggs--I think that was her offical total of eggs found on the hunt--but she was happy!

She was also able to open the egg and...

put the treat right into her mouth! Miss Brynn--you are NOT ready for gum yet--sorry girlie!

Grandpa and Caden are off!

Putting the eggs in his basket.

Greyson and Conner checking out their stash!

Brynn and Greyson looking cute!

All four kiddos enjoying their treats, the sun, and each other.

Say Cheese!

Caden, "I wonder what I could do with one of these big sticks?"

Conner, "I will show you what to do Caden!"
RUN!

Grandpa and Grandma Parry also had a special Easter Egg hunt--just for Caden--there were even some Elmo eggs, lots of great treats, and money hidden inside.
Easter is off to a wonderful start--Thanks Parry Family!
