Some of the closest and best friends I have are from our college days at FHSU--although we are all busy with our own lives, we try hard to stay in touch and get together every couple of years and if we are lucky, even once a year! This past July, 34 of us gathered in Wichita, KS. Since many children are involved, we did family centered activities starting the afternoon off in the hotel pool!

We decided to be cheap and each family ordered their very own Little Casear Pizza and then the adults all brought sides of fruit, pasta, veggies, and dessert!

The hotel was nice and let us use their meeting room--perfect place to get out of the heat for a bit!

We then headed to a wonderful park nearby to let the kids run and play.

Sunday morning we had a yummy breakfast at the hotel and then most of us headed to Goddard to tour Tanganyika Wildlife Park--our good friend from Fort Hays Matt Fouts and his family own this very hands-on zoo!
