Decorating for the Wedding

1 week to go until wedding day and luckily since Craig and Terri own the school gym where the reception and dance were going to be, we got to start decorating a week early and man was it nice!  Did I mention that this was the day that a lot of tornadoes went through Kansas--very scary at times--there were none close to Morganville while we were decorating, but my parents had our kids in Ellsworth and Salina and I think the sirens went off in Salina at least 3 times.  I did not like the feeling of not being with our kids when the weather was yucky--and Aunt Nell was pretty worried about her KS family as well and stayed in touch with us throughout the night.  Luckily all turned out well in the end, but the decorating and storms made for a LOOONG day!

Above--Caleb is pushing out a cart of chairs and Layne is on the front steering--and having fun :).
Below--the bride to be is hard at work using her tools to open doors!

Working on putting batteries in the lanterns and unwrapping glow sticks!

 Lanterns Galore!!!!!

A lunch fit for a queen and king--pizza, pop, and chips!  LOVE!

Kristi's awesome fabric balls that she spent many, many hours on and boy did they look a great!

The guys getting the fishing line ready to hang all the lanterns.

The grandma's tying ribbon onto the fabric balls.

The lanterns getting hung and Kristi's cake table decorations--folded paper circles--by 8:00 that night, the gym was looking pretty fancy!  Between family and friends, we had a great working crew that cleaned, wiped, put up tables and chairs, hung lanterns, ironed fabric, and created a master piece behind the cake table--all in a days work!
