VBS at our church this summer was a Desert Adventure with Jesus. Both Brynn and Caden were able to go and had a great time. We tried something new this year and one of the church boards served supper for all the kids and helpers--we loved that part and mommy had a whole week of not cooking supper--or cleaning up! I helped the older class for the week while Brynn joined the preschool group and Caden was in the kindergarten class.

We also did a family BBQ on Friday night and invited all the families to come hear our songs, see our crafts, hear about Jesus, and eat free food. The church was full and it was fun to see the kids perform!
Here are the kids singing their songs they learned all week for their families--always entertaining to see what your child is doing during the middle of the songs!
Proud of Caden and Brynn for going to VBS and learning about Jesus--they did such a great job learning their songs and Brynn was even brave enough to go one night all by herself while Caden had a baseball game!
Our total number of kids was 59--which is an improvement from last year--fun to see our church family grow!
